The original Horizontal Hostess (otherwise known as Dulcie, or My Mother) does some gorgeous Christmas decorating around her home - an original Queenslander wooden house in Brisbane. One of the arches is decorated with a green bough, and hung with chandelier pendants, the collectable Swarovski Christmas stars that come out each year, and some quirky little Christmas figurines. This year she strung some lights through, which beautifully brought the whole arrangement to life.
Now I'm off to bake individual pavlovas for our Christmas dinner tomorrow night.... and to wrap presents, and to assemble toy boxes for the boys (why, oh why, do I buy gifts that need to be put together AND then leave them to the last minute!!)
